Does anyone have some thoughts on automatic installing of cakePHP applications?

For example, if the table is missing the check_and_install action is performed to check the table presence and structure and create or fix them.

you could just export the data structure as an .sql file and run that from some kind of php installer

If I do so, the names of the tables are constant. But if the user of my "product" sets a table prefix, they have to be changed. I know, there's a way to write a php code to create a correct SQL an execute it, but is there any simple way?

that's beyond the scope of what cake does for you; i think there may be some utilities floating around that allow you to reverse engineer your database structure from your models, but nothing that I've used personally
